Following the cancellation of KS2 SATs for the second year running, another cohort of Year 7 has just started secondary school without KS2 prior attainment scores.

This 2-part webinar series provides insight into the key concepts behind our Cognitive Abilities Test, CAT4, and how it can be used as part of a wider assessment strategy.

In addition, we look at the Year 7 Transition Service now offered by GL Assessment and FFT.

The webinar is presented by James Swindell, former Deputy Head and now an Education Advisor with GL Assessment.

The webinar covers:

  • A review of CAT4, including key concepts and terminology
  • The range of reports available to you
  • Building an action plan and how to integrate CAT4 across your school
  • An introduction to the FFT Year 7 Transition Service and how to use CAT4 data in FFT Aspire to produce KS4 estimates
