How can we help

Establish, maintain and monitor reading progress with our termly nationally standardised assessments - New Group Reading Test/Spelling Test (NGRT/NGST) 
Identify difficulties with word recognition, reading fluency or reading comprehension - York Assessment of Reading Comprehension (YARC)
Identify phonological difficulties to improve underlying literacy skills - Phonological Assessment Battery (PhAB2)
Determine if there are any underlying barriers that could be affecting reading ability - Lucid Rapid, CoPS and LASS
Dedicated team of advisors - to support you and ensure you get the most from your data

NGRT has given us consistency in how we measure pupils’ reading skills across our year groups and this has been hugely beneficial to the school.
