Money was the theme for this year’s National Numeracy Day so we’ve partnered with National Numeracy and The Money Charity to explore ways to support financial literacy in the classroom.
Numeracy is the strongest predictor of financial literacy and low numeracy remains one of the biggest barriers to financial inclusion in the UK. In fact, 86% of people who lack confidence with numbers also rate their financial knowledge as low.
By building numeracy skills and number confidence from an early age, we can help children feel more in control of their finances as they grow.
Join us for this insightful webinar, led by Andy Small, Numeracy Product Specialist at Renaissance, alongside Stephanie Fitzgerald from The Money Charity and maths teaching specialists, Priya Shah and Gloria Dalafu. Together, they’ll discuss the importance of financial education in the classroom and share practical strategies to engage children with money and numeracy.
