Verbal Reasoning (VR)

  • VR tests involve reasoning with words and can identify pupils whose strengths lie in English, history, languages and the arts
  • Reasoning components assess how pupils think and learn and are less reliant on curriculum exposure or rehearsed content.

  • Identify pupils whose future potential is not always reflected in current attainment.
