GL Assessment host and attend a series of events, conferences and exhibitions during the year across the UK.

Our events highlights of the year include two National Assessment Conferences, one based in London and one in Manchester.  Our aim is to cover policy updates plus practical hands on assessment advice in dedicated Primary, Secondary and Multi-Academy Trust streams.  Speakers to date have included Sir David Carter (National Schools Commissioner) and the Rt. Hon David Laws (Executive Chairman of the Education Policy Institute), plus a number of practitioner experts from our Centres of Assessment Excellence.

Education Wales Summit, Wales (16 May)

NASEN Live! (7 July)

Join us at nasen live on Stand 2 at the Birmingham ICC to learn about the SEN Assessment Toolkit, a one-stop-shop for SEN assessments!

Our award winning SEN Assessment Test has been developed to ensure schools have the basic SEN assessment tools they may need. It brings together a number of tried and tested products that cover the most common and current areas of SEN.  The assessments within the toolkit cover four areas: Dyslexia, Literacy, Numeracy, and mental health and wellbeing. 

For over 35 years, we have provided assessments for children's education, mental health and wellbeing.  We are the leading provider of formative assessments to UK schools, as well as providing assessments for overseas ministries and British, bilingual and international schools in over 100 countries worldwide.

National Assessment Conference, Manchester (10 November)

The National Assessment Conference is where school leaders and classroom teachers can go for practical, take-away assessment advice.

Our 6th National Assessment Conference is where school leaders will be held in Manchester on Friday 10 November 2017.  It will provide beset practice workshops for both primary and secondary streams.

Customer Focus Groups

What does a customer panel entail?
We host a series of primary and secondary teacher panels during the course of each academic year – they are a way for us to gain vital customer feedback on our assessments, services and current educational policy.

The sessions are usually twilight, lasting from 5pm – 6.30pm, and we provide each participant with a £50 John Lewis voucher as a thank you for taking part.
