Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions that will serve as a legal agreement between GL Education Group and you in the use of this website.

Responsibility for your account concerning confidentiality, password, purchasing and unauthorised access belongs with you. GL Education Group must be notified immediately of changes to your registered details. GL Education Group reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts or access to its website.

As well as creating an online account, all customers must register with us for your online order to be dispatched. Ths is a one-off process, and in most cases will be completed without us needing to contact you, but we may ask you to demonstrate your professional qualifications if you are new to GL Assessment and are trying to buy some of our education and health and psychology products. The information you provide enables us to identify which assessments you are eligible to gain access to and administer.

GL Education Group reserves the right to amend details, prices, packaging and withdraw products without prior notice. GL Education Group also reserves the right to amend publishing release dates for new resources.

Payment terms are 30 days net from invoice date. Please notify us of queries on our invoices immediately, quoting the invoice number.

Claims for non-delivery, shortage or damage should be made in writing, quoting the account and invoice numbers (a) within 3 days of receipt for shortage or damage and (b) within 21 days of invoice for non-delivery.

With all queries/claims to our Customer Support and Advisory Service, invoice numbers should be quoted. Please note that we are unable to accept returns, unless faulty, after 14 days of receipt.

Substitutions welcome at any time. Written cancellations received 2 weeks or more before the conference or training date will qualify for a full refund. Written cancellations made between 2 weeks and 1 week before the conference or training date will qualify for a 50% + VAT refund per ticket. Cancellations made less than a week before the conference or training date will not quality for a refund.

All cancellations must be made in writing to [email protected]. GL Assessment reserves the right to alter the programme without notice due to unforeseen circumstances. We also reserve the right in our absolute discretion and without further liability to cancel the programme in which all monies will be refunded

It is a condition of sale that ownership of goods shall not pass to the buyer until payment is received by the Company. Some of our products contain photocopiable materials; however, until full payment is received, all photocopy restrictions remain in force. If payment is not received within a reasonable period, the Company may repossess the unpaid-for goods.

The contents of this website is exclusively owned and controlled by GL Education Group or its affiliates. You are not permitted to reproduce, adapt or store in any medium, any part of its content, nor is it permissible to use tools or other methods for the purpose of data gathering, mining or extraction by any means without written permission from GL Education Group.

Some items can be bought prior to their publication date as a pre-order on our website. This will mean your order will be dispatched following the publication date. If you are selecting physical items, you can select a shipping charge to your preference. However, your items will only be dispatched following the publication rather than the date your order was placed. Orders for digital items will also only be dispatched via email following the publication date. If you are paying by invoice, you will not be invoiced until these items have been published. If you are paying by credit card, we take the payment straight away.

Postage and Packing is determined by weight. Your postage costs will be displayed on the checkout page so you will be able to verify the postage cost before placing an order.

Although we try to ensure that all prices are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of your order, we will notify you as soon as possible. You will have the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling. If we are unable to contact you we will refund you in full. We reserve the right to change our prices without notice.

We accept orders at our discretion and all orders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by your payment card issuer. It is your responsibility for ensuring the details you give are correct and complete. When placing your order on-line your card/debit card will be debited when you click the order button. We will acknowledge your order by sending you an email. The email will confirm the cost and delivery details, or notify you if the goods are unavailable. If we do no accept your order and your credit/debit card has already been debited, we will notify you and refund your card in full. Goods are subject to availability.

Where there is a delay or failure to deliver goods, or where damage or defect has occurred to goods that is due to circumstances beyond our control, GL Education Group shall not be liable. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

Sales are made in good faith. If you wish to request a return, please call us on 0845 602 1937, giving your account number, invoice date and number and reason for return. Goods returned must be in ‘resaleable condition’. Unauthorised returns and returns after 14 days of invoicing will not be accepted.

Customers who are VAT exempt or zero-rated must provide copies of appropriate documentation, endorsed by Customs & Excise, in order for VAT not to be charged on consumable product.

GL Education Group reserves the right to make changes to their Terms and Conditions and their website. By placing an order on the website, you accept GL Education Group's Terms and Conditions and will be subject to those in force at the time of your order. If for any reason any of these Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid, void or unenforceable, the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition shall not be affected.

This agreement is governed by English law. You hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts notwithstanding the jurisdiction where you are based.

Subject to any relevant consumer protection legislation including our obligation under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling Regulations) to give you a refund, if you cancel your contract, if we do not perform the contract within 30 days or to the agreed timescale our liability for any breach of these terms and conditions shall be limited to the value of the goods ordered by you in the relevant transaction.
