Recruitment Lead

GL Education are a small (ish) business achieving big things, we’re on the look-out for an Recruitment Lead to join us and be part of exciting growth plans both in the UK and internationally.

As GL Education continues to grow, it’s recognised that attracting and recruiting top talent is more important than ever before. With overall responsibility for end to end recruitment, this role will be instrumental in ensuring we can attract key talent to help deliver our ambitious plans.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of strategic and operational recruitment from headcount planning and budget management, through to campaign creation and shortlisting. You’ll support hiring managers in selecting top talent while actively improving the end to end recruitment process. Our current recruitment policies, practices and processes need a reboot to ensure diversity, equality and inclusion is front and centre and to help us reduce time to hire and agency spend. We’re also planning to introduce an applicant tracking system so any implementation experience you have would be a bonus.

The Role:

About you

To succeed, you will bring with you experience of a similar internal recruitment role, you’ll have a passion for recruitment with a focus on candidate experience and be prepared to work with and upskill managers. We’ve made some great progress in moving to a direct sourcing model, however, there is further scope to reduce agency reliance and cost in some harder to fill areas, experience of this will be a big plus for us. Another bonus would be having some international recruitment under your belt, particularly in the UAE and Asia as these are recognised as growth markets for us.

Location: Our Brentford head office is the preferred location however, consideration will also be given to other GL offices in Durham and Swindon. We offer hybrid working at all of our sites and are also open to considering applicants preferring to be fully remote, there would be an occasional need to travel to sites.

Hours: Full time, Permanent, also open to those preferring FTC (37.5 hours per week for 12 months)

Salary: £45-50k per annum
