Mapping PIM and PIE to the APP Assessment Criteria
GL Assessment has linked every test question in both Progress in Maths and Progress in English to the relevant Assessing Pupil Progress Assessment Focus and Level. Based on this analysis, easy-to-use mapping grids have been created for each assessment, enabling teachers to see at a glance which levels within an Assessment Focus have been achieved. In this way, PIM and PIE can provide teachers with useful evidence that acts as a confirmation of their own teacher assessment.
