Minimum technical specification for online assessments on Testwise:
- Processor: 1.0 GHz Pentium or equivalent
- Memory: 256 MB RAM
- Browser Application: Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 (or later) Most versions of Mozilla Firefox (preferred browser for Mac’s) can also be used.
- Browser pop-ups: Allow for *.testingforschools.com Browser plug-in: Adobe Flash 9.0.124 or higher.
- Screen Resolution: For student 800x600 and for administrator 1024 x 768 (minimum) Colour Quality: High/Highest/65536 colours
- Internet Connectivity: Variable depending on number of pupils taking tests simultaneously, but for an average school should be 2 MB (or faster)
Equipment
Each pupil will need:
- Computer
- Mouse - It is recommended that the side buttons on 5 button mice are disabled as this may cause testing issues
- Headphones for certain assessments
- Keyboard
- Paper and pencil for rough working
