ASSESSMENT FOR ALL
This one day conference, Assessment for All: Using Standardised Assessments to Support the Curriculum for Excellence, is designed to provide an insight into how GL Assessment's Progress in English, Progress in Maths and the popular Cognitive Abilities Test, satisfy these requirements. The Conference will also highlight the emphasis placed on Reading for Meaning as an integral responsibility within the Curriculum for Excellence.

ASSESSMENT FOR ALL - Wales
The one day conference, Assessment for all: Using standardised assessments to support the National Literacy and Numeracy framework in Wales will give you the opportunity to hear the first-hand experiences of teachers and local authorities already using our assessments – including the Group Reading Test, New Group Reading Test, York Assessment of Reading for Comprehension and the Cognitive Abilities Test, as well as the Progress in Maths and Progress in English, in strategic programmes to raise attainment.
Highlights include a keynote address from Angela Burns, Welsh Assembly Member and Shadow Minister for Education
The conference is suitable for all professionals within primary and secondary school settings.

The one day conference, Assessment for all: Using standardised assessments to raise attainment will focus on literacy, numeracy and reasoning assessments across both the primary and secondary phases.

GETTING THE BEST FROM CAT

This one day conference, Getting the best from CAT, is designed to offer guidance and practitioner advice on making the most of your Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT) data. Suitable for both new and existing users, the conference will explore the possibilities, potential and best practice for the Cognitive Abilities Test.
New for 2012 is our International CAT Seminar programme which, consist of a 2.5 hour training sessions to help show international schools how CAT data can best be used to positively impact on teaching effectiveness by demonstrating how results can inform key school decision-making, intervention strategies and target setting.
